Catherine “Cathy” Marie (Weinmann) Hill Catherine “Cathy” Marie (Weinmann) Hill, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong advocate for children and community, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, at her home in Prospect, Ohio. She was 82.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on April 30, 1943, Cathy was the daughter of the late Ronald and Julie Weinmann. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ronald Weinmann.

| Jim Metcalf Jim Metcalf, age 87, of Primrose Retirement Communities of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2025. Jim was born Oct. 23, 1937, the son of Harry and Ethel (Levacy) Metcalf, in Athens.
Jim attended North High School of Columbus, graduating in 1955. After meeting through friends on a blind date, Jim married the love of his life, Judy Reynolds on October 25, 1959. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage and she survives.

She was born on September 20, 1947 in Marion, to the late Marion Amos and Margaret (Ports) Bonham. Rose cherished her life on the family farm and would often share stories with her sisters about her favorite cow, Tiny, or the many kittens that she loved to cuddle. | Betty J. McLaughlin Betty J. McLaughlin, 90 of Poland, Ohio, formerly of Marysville, died Friday June 13, 2025 at The Inn at Poland Way, where she had been residing.
She was born March 22, 1935 in Magnetic Springs to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Davids) Elliott. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Charles McLaughlin, a son, David Penrod and a brother, Robert Elliott.

| Cindy J. Shuster Cindy J. Shuster, 72 of Urbana, died Tuesday June 10, 2025 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 12, 1952 in York Center to the late Ray D. and Genevieve (Young) Jackson.
Cindy was a former teacher at the Christian Assembly in Marysville. She had also been active with the Boy Scouts and with Native Heritage.

He was born June 5, 1941 in Essex to the late Kenneth N. and Verla (Holbrook) Kater.
He was also preceded in death by siblings, Michael Kater, Jerry Kater, Ruby Robinson and Kathryn Carter.
