She was born March 3, 1929 to the late Ralph and Pauline (Howison) Wood in Leesburg Township in Union County. On April 17, 1949 she married Robert E. “Bud” Hines in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church by Rev. Robert E. "Bud" Hines, 73, of Somersville died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002,
at his home after a nine-month illness.
He was retired after 36 years as fire marshal for the Whirlpool
Corporation. After retirement, he was instrumental in opening the
Richwood Auction Center with Ted Pfarr and was the overseeing manager.
He was a 1948 graduate of York Center High School and a member of the
Whirlpool Retirement Organization.

He was born August 20, 1960 in Marion to the late Robert E. and Helen Jean (Wood) Hines, he was also preceded in a brother, Steve Hines.
He was a 1978 graduate of North Union High School and played football. He enjoyed coaching his boys in little league baseball and peewee football.
