She was born Oct. 14, 1905, in Kenton to the late Raymond David and Susan Viola Myers Briggs and was predeceased by two sisters. She married Herman Schmelzer March 2,1927, in Kenton and he died Oct. 10,1972.

Robbie became a pastor and served the CCCU denomination for over 50 years in Columbus, Bellefontaine, Raymond, Kenton, Carey, and Shiloh communities. He also organized camp meetings at the Burning Bush Camp in Marion County. He also did missionary work in Papua New Guinea and Dominica.

| Douglas Schmidt Douglas E. Schmidt, age 53, formerly of LaRue, died Thursday May 22, 2008 at 11:50 AM at his home in Lauderdale, Mississippi.
He was born November 23, 1954 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Ivalou (Gamble) Schmidt. On June 29, 1974 he married Cassy Forry and she survives.

| William Paul Schotte me. LaRue, for William Paul Schotte. He died early Friday morning at Marion General Hospital. He was 86.
Born Nov. 17, 1907, in Bowling Green Township, he was a son of Charles and Ida (Wigal) Schotte.
Surviving are abrother, Ray Schotte, Columbus; nieces and nephews.
Two sisters are deceased.
Mr. Schotte was a television repairman and an army veteran of World War II. He was a master sergeant and radio man for General Mark Clark in Italy.
