Helene Mae Tate y (Farimae) Tate of Virginia Beach, Va.; one stepson, Charles E. (Marie) Tate of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn (Michael H.) Kennard of Morral, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a nephew, Ralph Lee, of LaRue. Two daughters Josephine Tate and Audrey Tate and one brother, Louise Lee, are deceased.

On February 19, 1927 she married Harry Waxler, who died in August 1976.
