He was born March 2, 1918, in Marion County, to the late Jay D. and Emma (Miley) Stiffler.
On April 5,1947, he married Marthabelle Kirk. She survives.

Janis Lorene (Patrick) Welsh a 1945 graduate of Richwood High School, and the salutatorian of her class. She remained close throughout life to six of her school friends: Martha Moore, Ruth Eileen Shirk, Betty Simmons, Monie Sellers, Dottie Davis, and Donna Riedmiller. She referred to the group as the “Get-Together Girls” as they had frequent ‘get-togethers’ through the years.

Doc loved people; he enjoyed making new friends and truly never met a stranger.
He married Grace Brandon (Eiler) and she died October 8, 1975, also predeceased by sister: Margarite Everly

Faye Wetherington, 57, of Marion died unexpectedly Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Marion General Hospital. She was born September 2, 1947 in Hahira, GA to John Davis Fulp and Elizabeth Gordon Fulp, both deceased.
She was a Receptionist for Exact Software in Marion. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and American Baptist Women.
On Aug 29, 1965 she married Robert E. Wetherington, who survives in Marion .
