Sidney Ray "Shorty" Longshore Sidney Ray "Shorty" Longshore, 98, of Newark died Tuesday, April 17,
2001, at Licking Memorial Hospital.
He attended the Tanner Barber School in Toledo and was a barber in Toledo
and Richwood for 77 years. He was a member of the Richwood First Baptist
Church but more recently attended Southgate Church of Christ near his home
in Newark. He was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather and friend and

Kara Danielle Lucas he survives in Richwood.
She was a homemaker and had worked as an E. M. T. for Kare Medical. She was a member of the Richwood Church of Christ and also volunteered for the Red Cross. Kara enjoyed crafting – sewing, making bags, beads and patchwork quilts. She had a passion for cars, especially her ’88 Mustang. She loved life and was very caring of others.

Joshua Van Isaac Luna of the Soldiers of the Cross youth group and the
Central Ohio Youth for Christ group with whom he made mission trips to
India.
He had attended Ohio Dominican University, hoping to major in
communications with the goal of working in radio and he also enjoyed
working with computers. He worked at the Safari Golf Club at the
Columbus Zoo.

On June 17, 1962, he married the former Mary Milner and she survives.
He was a lifelong farmer and member of the York Center United Methodist Church. Margene I. Markham ichwood First United Methodist Church, she was also previously involved with Eastern Star and Union County Republican Women’s Club.

Janet E. Markin was a longtime and dedicated member of the York-McKendree and then York United Methodist Churches, she was also an active helper at the Richwood First United Methodist Church’s personal needs pantry.

He was born May 9, 1925 in Fernandina, Florida to the late Ray Morton and Edith Monica (Stiles) Martin, he was also predeceased by his son: Todd George Martin, who died in a biking accident in 2009.

A farm wife, she was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Marion, former member of the Richwood Civic Center, Farm Bureau, the Hicks and Chicks Square Dance Club and the Kings Daughters. She had also sold Stanley Home Products. She was a graduate of Cardington High School.

Barbara J. Matteson retired Social Worker, having worked with the Hospice at Grady. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Richwood.
Barb was Master Gardener, she had been President of the local club. She loved working in her flower garden. She also had a passion for traveling, she went all over the world.

Philip Andrew Mattix Philip Andrew Mattix, 28, went home to the Lord on January 17, 2020 following a lengthy period of physical pain, making many trips to the Cleveland Clinic.
He was studying to be an engineer. Two weeks after his passing his family received notification that he had been inducted into the National Honor Society.

Arthur Charles Mautz 2007 at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Marion. He was born January 29, 1917 in Marion County to the late Lawrence and Flora (Denzer) Mautz.
He was a farmer until 1966 and after that was a guard for 23 years, working for various institutions.
