She was born June 4, 1924 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Earl W. and Gladys (Friend) Miller. On March 17, 1944 she married Bertice C. “Bert” Ballinger and he preceded her in death on October 28, 1969.
Phyllis and her husband Bert owned the Ballinger Funeral Homes and Ballinger Floor Covering in Richwood and West Mansfield.

Doris Ann Barkus t-great-nephew, Ian.
She was predeceased by her parents, many aunts and uncles, cousins, her husband George Barkus (2006) and a grandson, David A. Orlando (2009), U.S. Army, who is greatly missed.

Wahneta Jean Barnes baseball, football, and especially basketball. Being a true Buckeye fan, she remembered the names of all her favorite players. In her later years, she became a great card player and met several times a week with different friends for an afternoon of fun.
She was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church where she served on many committees through the years. She also enjoyed being a member of the Prospect Senior Citizens.

Martha L. Hill Bates, 99, of Friendship Village, Dublin died Tuesday evening, August 2, 2005 at the Friendship Village Health Center. She was born Aug 31, 1905 in Union County to Sherman Peter Hill and Deborah Parks Hill, both deceased.
In 1966 she married Wilbur Bates in the Epworth United Methodist Church in Marion. He died in May of 1993.
