Ernest “Ernie” Glenn Fields then moved on to Whirlpool where he worked as a lab technician for 38 years before retiring. He also ran the Fields Cleaning Center in Richwood, which was a dry cleaning and laundromat company owned by Ernie.
He was a good friend and always lent a helping hand. He was a founding member of the Richwood Gun and Game Club. He always attended the Whirlpool retirees Monday morning breakfast club at the McDonald’s in Marion.
