Patricia M. Agler t was recruited to a teaching career after just two years of college. At age 20, and not yet old enough to vote, she became a fifth-grade teacher at Prospect School. Some of her former Prospect students became close personal friends in her later years.

Jonathan Travis Alcott Kenton High School; he had attended the Hi-Point Career Center. A mason by trade, he had worked various jobs over the years, he was also a veteran of the Marine Corps.
