She had worked at Union Manor Nursing Home in Marysville for ll 1/2 years, retiring in 1991 and was a member of the Somersville Friends Church.

Russell H. Smith was born May 16, 1923 in Lewis County, Ky., a son of the late Matt and Sarah Clark Smith.
On Jan. 17, 1949, he married the former Norma Nelson. She survives.
Mr. Smith was a World War II veteran and attended the Somersville; Friends Church. He was a construction worker.

Sally Jo Livingston Smith ars where she fell in love with the mountains and the people. She was a faithful member of the North Spartanburg First Baptist Church. Sally enjoyed cooking, camping, wiener roasts and sewing but especially liked helping friends and neighbors. She loved to travel all over the U. S. In addition to working in food service and catering, she also drove truck. The simplest things brought Sally joy and she had no regrets about her life.
