Bernice Evelyn (Owens) Phipps e late Lloyd and Hazel (Mitchell) Owens. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Opal Flohr.
On September 29, 1946 she married Beryl L. Phipps in Lancaster, and he died July 23, 2003.
Bernice attended the Somersville Friends Church and was a Sunday School teacher for the Youth for over 50 years. She had a 40-year perfect attendance record.

Helen graduated from York Center High School in 1939. She and Victor farmed in Union County all their lives. Helen gave her heart unconditionally to her family and her church, the Somersville Friends Church, where she devoted 74 years of her life.
