Chester Pearl Rouse Chester Pearl Rouse, 80, of Richwood died Thursday, July 8, 1999. at
Memorial Hospital of Union County after a two-month serious illness.
He was a retired custodian and bus driver at the Essex school. He was a
U.S. Army World War H veteran and a member of the VFW in Richwood, the
American Legion and a former VFW member in Mount Victory. He attended
Union Baptist Church.
He was born Feb. 25, 1919, in Union County to the late James and Etta

Thelma Rouse County. The retired cook at Essex
School was a member of the former Grace Chapel Methodist
Church and Navy Mothers.
She was born October 19, 1920, the daughter of Charles
Clarence and Florence Haughn Ruhl. She married Chester "Pearl"
Rouse December 25,1945.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Jim of Olivet, Michigan
and Jerold of Baldwin, Michigan; and six grandchildren.
