Hospital of Union County after a brave battle with her illness for the past
11 years.
She was a member of the Pharisburg United Methodist Church and had worked
at the Gooseberry Patch and Buehler's Market in Delaware and Child Support
Services in Union County. She was active with the Canine Kids 4-H Club,

She was born May 21, 1930, in York Township to the late Elsworth and Mae (Rosebrook) Laughrey. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leona Brown and bertha Cameron, and a daughter-in-law, Sandy Gibson.

Ann L. Gies, 65, Green Camp, died Monday morning December 13, 1993 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 26,1928, in Marion, a daughter of the late Lee and Helen (Burris) Endicott.
She was employed for 13 years with the Fashion Barn, Marion, and enjoyed painting.
On June 21, 1952, in Marion, she married Thomas A. Gies. and he survives.
