Virginia Mildred Fields Former Richwood resident, Virginia Mildred Fields, age 83, died Saturday,
April 20, 1996 at Grady Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born September 16, 1912, in Red Knob, WV, the daughter
of the late Darius and Laura Harpole Gandee. On August 31, 1930,
she married Dayton Fields in WV. He predeceased her March 29,
