Janet Josephine Swartz e Swartz, 73, 376 E. Market St., died Thursday morning January 27, 1994 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 28, 1920, in LaRue, the daughter of the late Edward Merle and Lena (Johnson) Lingo.
The homemaker was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church, and Mary Lenox Chapter 98 Order of the Eastern Star. On May 25, 1946, she married Lowell "Sonny" Swartz, and he survives.

Janet Louise Swartz hildren after a three-month battle
with pancreatic cancer.
She was a well known and respected pharmacist in the Marion area. She
graduated summa cum laude from the College of Pharmacy at The Ohio State
University in 1973 and began her career at Whiston's Pharmacy in Mount
Gilead. She worked at Henney & Cooper Drug Stores for 22 years and had
been employed at Rite Aid in downtown Marion since 1996.
