Calvin LeRoy Sewell LeRoy Sewell, 62, of Mount Victory died Wednesday, March 29,2000, at
Hardin Memorial Hospital after a two-year illness.
He was a retired county employee and was a member of Union Baptist
Church and Knights of Pythias North Star Lodge in Essex. He was a veteran
of the U.S. Army Reserve.
He was born July 30, 1937, in Byhalia to Erthen L. and Thelma Marie
Reed Sewell and was predeceased by his father and a sister, Marilyn Trout.

| Thelma Marie Sewell of the Welfare Department. She always had a special place in her heart for the elderly who were isolated, taking baked goods and other homemade items to them. Throughout her life Thelma was an active member of the Union Baptist Church until declining health prevented her from going.

She was bom in Purdon, Texas, Dec. 9,1899, a daughter of Oscar and Bessie Campbell McGee.
The homemaker was a member of First Baptist Church and former member of Richwood Garden Club.
Her husband, James Perry Shaw, whom she married in 1924, died Dec. 13,1951.
