Irene L. Schmelzer, 95, of Richwood died Wednesday, Feb.7, 2001, at Carriage Court in Marysville.
She was a farm wife, a charter and 75-year member of Union Baptist Church, member of the Richwcod Garden Club, charter member of the Girl Scouts in Kenton and former member of the LaRue Homemakers. She was known for her exceptional ability to crochet.

He worked for 28½ years on the railroad as a switchman. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marysville. He worked as a guard for a security company serving various plants in the area, including Honda and Goodyear.
