Cora Dell Johnston Pfister a grandson and a sister Mary Carr.
Cora was a 1944 graduate of the Magnetic Springs High School. She had worked as a salesclerk at the former Warner’s Five and Dime in Richwood and Lazarus. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church. Cora was very crafty, she enjoyed working with her flowers, crocheting and knitting. She had also been a member of the Richwood Civic Center.

Thelma Gladys Pierce Thelma Gladys Pierce, 77,of Richwood died Saturday, April 17,1993, at Union
Manor in Marysville after having been in failing health for several years.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was bom March 7,1916, in Lawrence County, Ky., to the late Thomas
and Bessie Vanhoose Robinett. She married Raymond Bayes on May 31,1932,
and he died in 1943. Her second husband. Travis Harold Pierce, died in 1986.

He was a machine operator at Quaker Oats and was a member of .the Richwood

Howard Ramsey Preston ton, 75, of Richwood died Sunday, Dec. 4, 1994, at his
residence after having been in failing health for a year.
He was retired as a tool and dye maker at Eaton Manufacturing in Marion and
was a member of the Richwood First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World
War II and a member of Richard Britton VFW Post #6817 in Mount Victory.

Thelma Preston f Richwood for 52 years, previously living in DuQuoin, Ill She graduated from DuQuoin Township High School in 1939. For the last year, she lived at Carriage Court Assisted Living in Marysville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richwood where she was a member of the Mission Circle, and for a time attended Grace Baptist church in Marion. She served as a Sunday School teacher for many years at the Richwood church.

Roy Arthur Purtee ly 13, 1941 in Scioto County to the late Ellsworth and Ida Mae (Akers) Purtee, he was also preceded in death by on brother: Jack Purtee and one sister: Ruth Atkinson
Roy was a devoted member of the White Oaks Road Freewill Baptist Church in Marion. He worked in iron foundries during his working career, first at Marion Castings and then at Kenton Iron.
When he was able, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to church.

On July 6, 1979 she married Benjamin E. Ransome and he died December 30, 1998.
She had worked as an LPN for Riverside Methodist Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1998. She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Marion. Among her favorite things to do were playing euchre and traveling.

She was born Aug. 25,1908, in Red House, W.Va., a daughter of Van and Laura (Harmon) Brown. Her husband, Stephen Rayburn, whom she married in 1925, died in 1959. The homemaker was a former member of Community Baptist Church, Mount Gilead, and had attended LaRue Baptist Church.

He was retired after 35 years of service at the former Marion Power Shovel. Carrol was an active member of the Richwood First Baptist Church where he served in many capacities.
