On November 5, 1977 she married Billie G. LaRue in Salina, Kansas and he died in October, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her son, Theodore Reynolds, a sister, Sandra Buckley and a brother, William Brown.

Rhea R. LaRue, 91, Community Nursing Center, formerly LaRue, died Thursday evening Dec. 24, 1987 in Marion General Hospital.
She was born in LaRue July 17, 1896, a daughter of Frank and Anna Whitman Schotte.
She had been employed at one time with the E.H. Lingo Co., LaRue, LaRue School and Frank Brothers, Marion. Mrs. LaRue was member of LaRue United Methodist Church, Mary Lenox chapter 98 Order of the Eastern Star, and LaRue Senior Citizens.
