Bom Nov. 13, 1898, in Pleasant Township, he was the son of Charles C. and Margaret Jane (Cratty) Issler. They preceded him in death along with his wife, Mary Lucille (Finef-rock) Issler, whom he married in 1922. She died in Sept, 1978.
