He was born March 16, 1900, in Bowling Green Township, Marion County, a son of Harry and Bertha Lamb Williams.
A bulk station manager for the Standard Oil Co. for 42 years, he retired in 1963. He was a member of Bellefontaine First United Methodist Church and Standard Oil 40-Year Club.

Born Feb. 8,1961, in Marion, he was the son of the late James Doc Monroe and Ethel Marie (Martin) Wright.
He worked as a mason and attended the New Bloomington United Methodist Church.
