Mary Sue and JR,

I want to thank each of you for keeping Mom (Aunt Jane) in the loop over the years about Aunt Mary when she moved to St.Louis. Mom had gotten extremely close to her after Uncle Johnny died.  It was a connection to her family which she needed badly at that time in her life.  Although we were not a close knit family, my brothers and I have wonderful memories of Livingston holidays which your mom went all out especially making sure everyone was having a good time and a full stomach.  The summer picnics at the lake were the most special to kids who never got a chance to ride in a boat. I have sampled only briefly when Mom did not know me after her heart surgery, but she knew everyone else. To this day it still stays with me. I could not have faced what both of you have done over the past with Aunt Mary. You have your memories of your mom and dad, and I sincerely hope these will help you get through moments when future holidays with your own families come around.  Love Vicki Price Doss
