Frances C. Waxler
Frances C. Waxler, 98, of Prospect died Thursday morning, March 16, 2006 at Community Healthcare Center in Marion after a 2 week illness.  She was born September 1, 1907 in Richwood, OH to the late Ivan John and Lettie (McDaniel) Brobeck.

She was the oldest member of Prospect United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.  She was a charter member of the Child Conservation League, a charter member of Prospect Bridge Club and a charter member of Prospect Dinner Club.  She loved gardening and was a great cook.

On February 19, 1927 she married Harry Waxler, who died in August 1976.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary (Ralph) Garrison, Prospect; 2 sisters, Marjorie Bovard, Newark; Martha Knaggs, Lakewood; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Harold, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. David L. Hoffman officiating.  Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to Project Faith, Prospect United Methodist Church, 203 N. Elm St., Prospect, OH  43342.
