Evelyn Eaton
Frances Evelyn Eaton, 82, of Prospect died Thursday, January 19, 2006 at the James Cancer Hospital.  She was born Sep 19, 1923 near Prospect, OH to the late William and Winifred (Wynn) Eaton.

She graduated from Prospect High School in 1942, and then attended Springfield Business School.  She worked for the Farm Bureau Insurance Company from 1943 to 1953, Children's Hospital from 1953 to 1958, and The Ohio State University in Dodd Hall from 1958 to 1987, retiring after 29 years.  She lived in Columbus from 1943 to 1997, and has lived back in Prospect since 1997.  She was a member of Marion County First Family, having ancestry in that county dating back to 1829.

She is survived by 1 sister Eileen (Robert) Apt, Richwood and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Eleanor Vance.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, January 23, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Otterbein Cemetery, Prospect with Rev. David L. Hoffman officiating.  Visitation will be held at Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect Park Commission.  Cards are available at the funeral home.

I wish to express condolences to Eileen, Evelyns' sister.  We are in South Carolina, but still keep up with the lcoal news as well as possible and was saddened to hear fo Evelyn passing.
