Michael “Mike” Albert Frasca, 65, of Raymond, passed away peacefully at his home on September 22, 2026, surrounded by the place he loved and the life he built with his beloved wife, Diane. Mike was born on April 5, 1961, in Lorain, to Dr. Albert and Murial (Holt) Frasca. Mike was a hardworking man who spent the last of his professional career with Speer Mechanical HVAC in Columbus. But work was only one part of a life that was defined by his love of the outdoors, his family, and the people around him. An avid outdoorsman, Mike loved fishing and hunting and found some of his greatest joy in being outside. He was also an accomplished archer, winning the World Archery Competition twice and earning three national championships. His dedication, skill, and love of the sport were a source of great pride throughout his life. Mike also had a passion for winemaking that eventually grew into something much more. He and Diane founded Bokes Creek Winery, turning their love of the land and winemaking into a family endeavor. Mike lived out his days at the vineyard with Diane, enjoying the land they had made their home and sharing their passion with others. Mike and Diane were proud owners of Bokes Creek Winery in Raymond, where what began with the discovery of blackberry fields on their property blossomed into a passion for winemaking. Over the years, that passion grew into the vineyard and winery they lovingly built together. The winery became much more than a business—it was their home, a place where Mike could enjoy the land he loved, pursue his passion for winemaking, and welcome friends and strangers alike. For Mike, however, it was never simply about the accomplishments, the work, or the winery. It was about people. Mike was a very kind man who never met a stranger. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, and his generosity and warmth made people feel welcome wherever he went. Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Gee Frasca, they were married September 9, 1995 on Kelleys Island; his son, Garrett (Anna-Catherine) Frasca; his parents, Dr. Albert and Muriel Frasca; his brother, Glenn (Michelle) Frasca; his nephews, Albert Frasca, Nick Frasca, Andrew Frasca, and David Frasca; and many extended family members and dear friends. He leaves behind not only the family he loved, but also the countless people whose lives he touched through his kindness, generosity, friendship, and welcoming spirit. As we grieve Mike’s passing, we can find comfort in the many wonderful memories he left behind, the laughter, the time spent outdoors, the adventures, the gatherings at the vineyard, and all the special moments shared with him. He will always be remembered for the joy and kindness he brought to those around him. “May we find comfort in the good memories we shared, knowing that the love, laughter, and moments we treasure will remain with us always.” There will be a Time of Sharing on Saturday September 26, 2026 at 3:30 pm at the Bokes Creek Winery, 26211 State Route 31 Raymond, Ohio 43067. Following the Time of Sharing the family will receive family and friends at the Winery to celebrate Mikes life. We are still in disbelief that Mike is gone. Our hearts are heavy with sadness. From the first time we met Mike,he treated us like we had been lifelong friends. Mike always had an adventurous story to share and a passion for his wine making, hunting and fishing.  We will hold Diane and family up in prayer and keep them in our thoughts during this very difficult time.
