Dale Lee Cramer, age 53, of Beavercreek, died Tuesday morning, September 1, 2026 at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek. He was born March 24, 1973 in Riverside, to the late David Lee and Karen Lou (Oberdier) Cramer. He was also preceded in death by grandparents, Francis and Lucille Cramer, Paul and Carol Oberdier; aunts and uncles, Francis “Eddie” Cramer, Danny Grose, Vernon & Elizabeth (Cramer) Jones, Georganna (Cramer) Almazon, Joe and Martha (Cramer) Ventolo. On June 18, 2011, he married Sherry Louise (Leonard) and she survives. Dale graduated from Belmont High School, Dayton. He then attended Wright State University and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering. He worked for Curtiss Wright as a Senior Application Engineer for the next 30 years. He found his home church at Agape Family Worship Center in Beavercreek. He spent time helping young minds grow at a Computer Math Club. He was involved for many years with the OACC Camp Ohio. Dale was a Foster Father to over twenty children. Dale had so much love to give that even after helping raise that many children he still had plenty more to give. His last foster child, Jazmyne, was very special to him and Sherry and she became their goddaughter. As a young child growing up Dale would spend time traveling the United States with his parents and younger brother, Jeff. When not traveling, he would spend most weekends at his grandparents’ houses having family fun with his cousins. Dale had many stories to tell about his childhood and what he learned through those years. He was a Boy Scout, and as he would say when traveling that the Boy Scouts always taught him to be prepared. When he was packing the van, he would make things fit like a game of Tetris. Dale loved playing video games, traveling, reading, NASA, our military, making homemade ice cream and eating it too, family gatherings, bluegrass music, church hymns, wood working, and he loved to tinker in his garage and build things. He loved everyone, regardless of their background. He always found the good in people. He loved hosting gatherings at the house and filling it full of laughter, giggles, stories and listening to all the women playing games and hollering while playing. Dale’s life was always filled with family and love. The family motto always was, “You enter our home as a friend or stranger, but you leave as family.” Dale helped many people through his life. He was a giver in many ways. But out of all these things Dale was a believer in God and his faith never wavered. After fighting cancer for 19 ½ years, 2 ½ years of kidney failure, he never stopped having faith. He would always say to have God in our life and he will take care of it. He never stopped having FAITH. Besides his wife, he is survived by his goddaughter, Jazmyne Grace Foland, Avon Park, Florida; brother, Jeffrey (Erica) Cramer, Dayton; sister-in-law, Schranetta (Andy) Brigner, Johnstown; brothers-in-law, William Leonard, Centerburg; Daniel (Amy) Leonard, Seymour, Tennessee; nephews, Kody Leonard, Collin Cramer, Ethan Cramer, Thomas Leonard, Kolby Leonard; nieces, Charlie (Grace) Cramer, Cassidy Strange, Kaylee Leonard, Kendra Leonard. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Fulton Creek Evangelical Friends Church with Pastor Mark McVey officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 7 PM at the Agape Family Worship Center, 4111 Mapleview Dr., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432, and one hour prior to the service at the Fulton Creek church, beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery where is parents’ cremated remains will also be laid to rest. Memorial gifts may be made to OACC Camp Ohio. He played a big part in all our lives especially being Jazmynes godfather. She is deeply sadden by his passing. She'll always remember Dale Lee getting in the floor and playing for hours with her or making cookies and pizza during the holidays, memories she'll always hold dear to her heart.
