Robert Ray ClementFlagRobert Ray Clement, 91, of Richwood, formerly of LaRue, died Monday August 31, 2026 at the Otterbein Green Hills SeniorLife in West Liberty.

He was born July 17, 1935 in Kenton to the late George Emery and Alice (Elsasser) Clement. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Irma Eileen (Corbin) Clement, they were married June 21, 1958 and she died May 7, 2022.

Bob had served our country in the United States Army. He had worked for the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad out of Marion for many years.
Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 584 in Marion, formerly of the Philipi-Clement Post #101 in LaRue.
He loved his horses and was a lifetime member of the O.W.H.A. Bob had also been a 4-H advisor for many years. He had a very easy-going laid-back personality. He was always helpful to anyone and was known for his hard work.
Bob was an avid fan of his OSU Buckeyes. He loved his dogs, Ike and Willie and was known to enjoy a little bit of chocolate now and then!

Surviving are his children, Denise (Donald) Reisinger of Bellefontaine, Danine Clement of Cardington and Dennis Clement of Prospect.
Sisters, Mae Lude of Indiana and Kay Kline of Kenton
2 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren

Graveside services will be held Friday September 4, 2026 at 11:00 am at the LaRue Cemetery. Military Honors will be given by the Vietnam Veterans of America #1095.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to American Legion Post #584, 142 Olney Ave., Marion, OH 43302

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Prayers to the family. Remember a lot a good memories of your dad from the lumber company to the ball fields. Always enjoyed talking to bob always had a smile.
