Larry Allen Tanner, 83 of Richwood, died peacefully Tuesday July 28, 2026 at his home. He was born June 12, 1943 near Richwood to the late Clifford and Vera (Erwin)Tanner. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Janice (Don) Smith and Elma (Hal) Parish. Larry had served our country in the United Sates Army. He had worked for the former Webb Plastics and Mills Chevrolet in Richwood. Larry was a very talented wood worker; he could make just about anything. He also loved to go trap shooting when he was able. On February 5, 1982 he married Carol (Robinson) and she survives. Also surviving are sons, Troy Tanner of Marion, Terry (Tammy) Tanner of London and Brian Elwood of Richwood Grandchildren, Taylor (Cory) White, Colt Tanner, Ty Tanner, Teryn (Richard) Price and Torie (Austin) Terrill Great grandchildren, Graham and Lila White, Cooper, Calvin and Crue Price and Brodie and Benny Terrill Sister, Nancy (Marvin) Shuster of Richwood Military Honors graveside services will be held Thursday August 6, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Claibourne Cemetery.
