Frank David “Dave” Campbell, 71 of Prospect, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 22, 2026 at the Marion General Hospital. He was born June 23, 1954 in Columbus to the late Donald Leroy and Vivian (Pebble) Campbell. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Campbell and William “Bill” Campbell. He was quiet, gentle soul that loved to draw maps of cities and countries that he made up. He enjoyed reading books to learn more about other countries. He was very interested in historical information and up to date on many different countries. He also had a hobby of painting historical miniature figurines. Dave was a lover of music; he had amassed a large collection of tapes. Surviving is his nephew, Nate (Alison) Campbell, whom he made his home with in Prospect and a sister, Patricia Campbell- Rhodes of South Carolina. There will be no services at this time. The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect is assisting the family.
