Gregory L. Harper, 67 of Marion, died Sunday April 19, 2026 at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab. He was born May 1, 1958 in Marion to H. Claire Harper and Ruth (Graham). Greg had served our country in the United States Navy. He had worked as a truck driver for various places in the area. He was a huge OSU fan and had belonged to the OSU Alumni Club in Marion. Greg enjoyed motorcycles and cars, he liked watching NASCAR, Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. Surviving is his mom, Ruth Oehler of Marion, siblings, Stephanie (Hutch) Hutchings of Marion and Brent Harper of Marion. Nieces and nephews, Joshua Harper, Brooke (Sean) Stever, Casey Mackay and Madison Mackay. And 3 great nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 29, 2026 at 12 noon at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Jacob Gilliam will officiate. Burial will follow in the Green Camp Cemetery, where there will be Military Honors conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America #1095. Friends may call one hour prior at the funeral home in Richwood.
