Dorothy Marie Brown, 94, formerly of Richwood, Meeker and Green Camp, died Sunday March 22, 2026 at the home of her son Donald in North Lewisburg, where she had been residing. She was born June 18, 1931 in Kenton to the late Clem and Edna (Piper) Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robert Brown, sons, Bobby, Tommy, William, Steve and Kevin Brown and infant daughter, Beverly Brown Brothers, Bob and Paul Copper Best friend, Martha Douce Dorothy was a 1949 graduate of the Harding High School, where she was a Majorette. Her working career started at the former Marion Power Shovel to BF Goodrich/ Parker Hanifen to the Fulfillment Corp. Dororthy also had sold Avon Products and worked for Jackson-Hewitt part time. Dorothy was a longtime dedicated member of the Meeker United Methodist Church. She had served the church as secretary for over 30 yrs. Surviving are her children, Donald (Terri) Brown of North Lewisburg and Carol Brown of Pahrump, Nevada Several grandchildren and great grandchildren Funeral services will be held Monday March 30, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Meeker United Methodist Church. Pastor Kathy Herr will officiate. Burial will follow in the Green Camp Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue.
