Chasity Lynn Flournoy, 51 of Marion, died Sunday February 22, 2026 at Ohio State University East Hospital.
She was born February 8, 1975 in Marion to Cairl Sr. and Brenda (French) Welch. Her dad survives in Marion.
Chasity worked for Freedom Care Givers in Marion as a home health aide.
Everyone that came across Chasity knew what a loving, nurturing, loyal person she was. Chasity was someone you could depend on being there in times when you needed her the most. Some of her favorite things to do was watch her reality shows with her dogs, then picking up the phone and reliving it with her daughter and sister. Chastity also enjoyed live comedy, lifetime movies and anything court related. However, more than that she strived to be an amazing mother and Maw Maw. Chasity truly was the glue that held the family together, especially after her mom was no longer able. She planned and executed all the family dinner and holiday get togethers. Her favorite time of the year was Halloween and on top of decorating she especially loved getting the family together to carve pumpkins. Her family and her dogs were her life. If Chasity loved you, she would have your back no matter if you were right or wrong and that’s just one of the reasons she will be missed. Chasity instilled her morals and values into her family and that’s where her legacy will remain.
Surviving are her children, Marcie Hamilton (Jay Lichtenberger), Dillion (Aliza) Hamilton and Seth Hamilton (Stasia Manley) all of Marion
Grandchildren, Tayven Davis-Triplett, Gracelynn Troutman, Eminn Thompson, Raelynn Funk, Isaac Hamilton, Addalynn Hamilton, Oaklee Hamilton, Seth Hamilton Jr.
Siblings, Melissa Arthur (Donald Gay) of Prospect and Cairl (Debbie) Welch Jr. of Richwood
She was the coolest Aunt Chas to Shadow, Kada, Amanda, Madison, Oakland, Lyric, Shade, Tiny, Liam, Kai, Braylynn, Aliaha, Amelia, Amenadil, Mazi as well as so many of their friends.
Her canine best friend, Duces
She loved and missed her precious dogs, Buttons, Petey and Shuggy
