 Marjorie Ellen Weston, 91 of Marion, died Friday evening November 21, 2025 at the Meadows of Marion, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 30, 1934 in Marion to the late James Thomas Logan and Hulda (Creasap) Hildreth. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Gene Little, they were married January 30, 1954 and then C. Wayne Weston and they were married January 23, 1981 in Mt. Dora, Florida.
Marjorie was also predeceased by siblings, Raymond Hildreth, Donald Hildreth, Carl Hildreth, Howard Hildreth and Virgil Hildreth.
She graduated in 1952 from Kirkpatrick High School. She obtained her LPN degree from the Marion Technical College.
Marjorie’s working career spanned many yrs. as she had worked at the former Berry Seed Company in Marion, the Isaly Restaurant, the former Maplewood Nursing Home, Vance’s Mobile Home Park and she had also been a Walmart Greeter in Marion.
In former years, she had been active at the Green Camp Baptist Church and Smeltzer Road Alliance Church, playing the piano and organ and also teaching Sunday School. Currently, she was a member of the Grace Life Church in Marion. Marjorie was a dedicated prayer warrior.
Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, sewing and playing cards. She rooted hard for her OSU Buckeyes! She loved attending family activities and events and was known to be a very good cook.
Surviving are her loving children, David K. (Brenda K.) Little of Marion, Brian (Pam) Little of Galion, Tim (Karen) Little of St. Genevieve, Missouri and Suzie (Jeff) Criswell of Marion.
stepchildren, Dr. Terry (Janet) Weston of Mansfield, Robin Weston of Smyrna, NC, Julie (Paul) Derry of Minneola, Florida and Rick (Cathy) Weston of Albertville, Alabama
29 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren
Sisters-in-law, Judy Hildreth of Caledonia and Diane Hildreth of Caledonia
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Sunday November 30, 2025 at 5:00 pm at the Grace Life Church, 930 Harding Memorial Pkwy, Marion, OH 43302, Pastor Adam Issler will officiate. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 3:00 pm at the church. Private burial will take place at the Marion Cemetery at a later date.
