Dennis J. Wheeler, 71 of Richwood, died Tuesday evening November 11, 2025 at his home. He was born June 11, 1954 in Mount Vernon to the late Donald and Delores (Greene) Wheeler. Dennis was retired diesel mechanic, having worked at National Lime & Stone in Delaware for 36 years. He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, playing cornhole, going to family cookouts, watching NASCAR  on Sunday and fishing and hunting. Dennis was one of those guys that could fix anything, he enjoyed helping others, especially the grandkids. He also had a soft spot for his cat, Dengie. Surviving is his wife, Joan (Baldridge) Wheeler, they were married September 1, 1973 in Delaware. Also surviving are his girls, Debbie (John) Scaggs of Ostrander, Denise (Justin Knotts) Wheeler of Marion and Delia Wheeler of Columbus Grandkids, Jonathan Scaggs, Justin Scaggs, Dakotah (Ashlee Cox) Wheeler and Jaycob (Kaylee Millikin) Knox Siblings, Donald (Candy) Wheeler, Darrel (Kathy Cantrell) Wheeler, Alan Wheeler, Donnie Wheeler, Deena (Leroy) Burke, Sarah Wheeler, Jaime Dague and Jodene Pagani   There will be no services at this time.
