I'm so sorry and heartbroken to hear about the passing of Jeri. I used to call her my sweet but sassy Jeri Berry. I want to send my deepest sympathy and condolences to her family they were blessed to have such an Amazing woman in their life as was I and the rest of the housekeeping crew at monarch she was my employee at monarch I will always remember her from our time working together at monarch I was new and she taught me everything I needed to know and was my partner in crime but also a huge help in teaching me the ropes to be the best director I could be!! She was such a lovely, hard-working lady—funny, caring, kind, and passionate and never took no crap that was my favorite thing about her. She took good care of the residents and was sad when she had to go on leave due to her health. We all cried so hard that day but I knew that it was her time to finally live life and enjoy it. She helped me get through each workday even when I wanted to give up she helped me stay strong to keep pushing and I will always be thankful for that. she was full of life and laughs. My last memory of her was when I came up with the idea to get her roses her favorite flower and a card for the whole monarch to sign to let her know she was important to us and was more than just an employee but a friend a ear to listen and a great advice giver and the glue to our crew and that she would be missed by so many she was sad and we didn’t want her sad about leaving we wanted her to able to live her life and enjoy her family when we found out her health was not so well because she worked hard all the time I I knew it was time for her to be home we prayed for the best and made sure management showed her appreciation for her hard work and dedication to the company I could write a book of the joy she gave us the never ending laughs and the love she had for what she did at monarch and the residence that it broke her heart to have to leave because the residents and a lot of employees loved her so much and considered her family!! You will be missed but never forgotten Jeri berry!! Rest in peace and enjoy heaven sweet angel 👼🏽 until we meet again. Love Val.
