Michael Lee Redmon, 39 of Prospect, died unexpectedly, Friday, July 25, 2025. He was born September 17, 1985 in Marion.
Mike worked as an auto technician in Prospect. He was very handy and there wasn’t much he couldn’t fix. He was a 2004 graduate of North Union and Tri-Rivers Joint Vocational School. He was a beloved son and brother, and, more than anything, he was a proud dad.
He is survived by his father, Michael Lynn Redmon, Kenton; his mother, Kathlyn Bowen, Richwood; his brother, Matthew Redmon, Richwood; his half brother, Thomas (Ashley) Clark, West Jefferson; his sister, Pamala Burns, Columbus; his daughter, Scarlette Redmon, Wooster; his fiancée, Patty Nichting; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Redmon.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating. Burial will take place in Prospect Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 PM.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike was always so very kind to me and would look out for me. He always called me “Aunt Kathy” and I treated him just like my nephews. He could always fix our cars no matter what the issue was.
Years ago I desperately wanted to go to a Rick Springfield concert in Columbus but didn’t want to go alone, now Mike was not a Rick Springfield fan but he knew how much I wanted to go but not by myself and he suffered through it. Lol
We will miss you kiddo. Sending hugs and love!

Mike you are defiantly going to be missed. I love you. You were my son-in-law in my eyes. I will never forget you. You have been there for me some times. When I needed to go the doctors appointments & didn't have a ride you stepped up & took me. I am going to miss you so much. R.I.P. Mikey
