Joseph Dylan Suiter, 26 of Delaware, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He was born July 31, 1998 in Columbus.
He had worked for Kroger and Valvoline as a manager and had also driven for DoorDash.
Joseph was truly one of the kindest and sweetest souls one could ever encounter, with a heart larger than life.
At a moment's notice, he was always ready to help a friend, family or stranger alike. Without hesitation or expectation, day or night, he showed up to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear or just simply his presence when you needed it most.
Joseph loved riding his motorcycles, hacky sacking, skateboarding, airplanes and working on cars, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his friends and family. Joseph has been our family's rock for years - steadily holding us together with his one-of-a-kind smile and the biggest hugs. He was taken far too early and will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle M. (Stevenson) Suiter, Conway, SC; his sister, Kara (Nathan) Fyffe, Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers, Tyler (Jennifer) Suiter, Marysville; Logan M. Suiter, Conway, SC. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Lois Armstrong of Mansfield, his special friend, Megan Smart of Delaware and countless friends who he considered his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Matthew S. Suiter in 2017.
Services Celebrating Joseph's Life will be held Thursday July 17, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Dr. Dean Goon will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 5:00 pm at the funeral home in Richwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a scholarship fund that Joseph established for his twin nieces, Madison and Mattelyn Suiter. Donations payable in person to Michelle Suiter (or Venmo@Michelle-Suiter-2).

I've known Joseph for 8 yrs we worked together at Kroger. My heart aches for your loss. Joseph was a gentle soul and I always enjoyed talking with him. He always stopped by the Fuel Center and gets his regular Mocha Starbucks and we would talk. He had stopped by that day and I was asking him how his Grandmother was he had told me about her before in one of are talks and said he helped out with her that she was 90 yrs old. I'm really going to miss him stoping by he always puts a smile on my face. I looked at him as the son I never had. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. 🙏🏻

I knew Joseph through my son, Nathan. Joseph seemed to have a heart of gold that only few people have. He was genuinely a nice person. He always greeted me with a smile and was always very polite. Loved his infectious laugh. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

The longest and most honest friend I´ve ever had and known. So thankful for 16 years of Joseph, his contagiousness and the sunshine and warmth that followed him wherever he went. Will forever be so very missed. So much love, always.
