Johnny Michael RitchieFlagJohnny Michael Ritchie, 71 of Kenton, died Monday January 20, 2025 at the Marion General Hospital.

He was born February 27, 1953 in Acup Creek, Kentucky to the late Paul and Hazel (Sumner) Ritchie. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Foreman, Glen Ritchie and Danny Ritchie.

Johnny had served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He had worked for himself in the construction industry. He loved muscle cars and will be remembered as a wonderful, kind and loving man.

Surviving is his significant other, Robin Baith of Kenton, his sons, Jeremy of Arkansas, Jarrod of Arkansas, John Paul of Bucyrus, Joshua of Oregon and Jackie of California.
Siblings, Brenda Wurtsbaugh of Richwood, Lois (Arthur) Magana of LaRue, Betty (Mike) White of Ostrander, Darrell (Clastine) Ritchie of Oregon, David (Evelyn) Ritchie of Mt. Victory and Allan (Angie) Ritchie of Richwood

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 25, 2025 at 12 noon at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Jason Rasor will officate. Burial will follow in the York Cemetery, where there will be Military Honors given by the Vietnam Veterans of America #1095. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Richwood.

Johnny, I have loved you from the moment I met you. I am proud to say that you have taught me so much and how you were quick to respond with humor and knowledge you have and always will hold a special place in my heart. I knew Johnny for a few years as my neighbor in romoland..He was a good, kinda, and funny man. We had some good and fun times and alot of great memories.. He will be missed and loved forever. Thanks for the memories johnny Much love John

You were a friend as well my brother in law. We grew up together in Home Gardens, I remember leaving campus for lunch and we always came to see you at Sizzler when you worked there. I think you settled down before me and your big brother You married one of my dear friends, created my 2 awesome nephews. Time and distance seperated us but you were always in our hearts.
