Gerald A. “Jerry” Weaver
Gerald A. “Jerry” WeaverCowboy HatGerald A. “Jerry” Weaver, 83 of Marysville, died unexpectedly Sunday December 15, 2024 at his home.

He was born December 13, 1941 in Marion to the late George W. and Martha (Steele) Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his stepmom, Helen Weaver.

He became a born-again Christian in 2007 and he walked up Peg’s sidewalk in June 2007 and they got remarried 30 years to the day from when they met the first time on September 1, 2007. The rest is history.
Jerry loved giving out pennies with the cross cut out of the center to anyone that he came into contact with.

Surviving is his wife, Peggy D. (Davis) Gray
Children, Gwen (Wally) Janeczek, Gretchen (Jim) Millisor, Jeff Weaver, Jon (Heidi) Weaver

I will miss my hugs every Sunday at church Jerry would give me a hug.  He told me he prayed for me.  He and Peg took me to church then they would take me to lunch.  Jerry said it was what he thought he should do. What a wonderful Christian he was and he would tell you he loved Jesus.  I will miss you my friend. Prayers for Peg and family. Jesus loves you and so do I

Where do I even start...? The many memories I have are precious & considered priceless treasures. In my eyes, Jerry was always a strong, intimidating, big man.... until you really KNEW him. His heart was huge & he really was a softy. His love for his kids was endless. He put up with my antics & endless giggles with Gretchen. I loved this man & will miss him. I love all of you very much. ❤️💔 ~Shari Keller

Jerry was a good friend that looked at life and farming much like we did. He wanted to get over to our farm to see our renovated barn and I regret that he never got to see it in person.  🥺 Rest in peace. sweet, friend.

Peg,  I’m so sorry to hear about Jerry.  He was a good friend.  The last time I saw him , Jerry handed me one of those special pennies.  In fact  two days ago I showed it to my daughter and said that Jerry had given it to me.  He will be missed.  My blessings.
