I knew Jennifer for many years at CBIZ – she was super nice and such a wonderful person.  My favorite memory of Jennifer was talking about our favorite subject, our children and grandchildren.   Jennifer was there in the office when my first grandchild was born.   I was glowing and I shared with her how great it was (including pics).  Jennifer smiled (the Jennifer smile) and nodded as she understood.  You see, she was an experienced and super loving grandmother and great grandmother.   From that time forward – we had a bond.  The bond was simple, the love of our children and grandchildren.   Jennifer, as a child of God, is now in God’s loving arms.

I first met Jenny in ballet class when I was in second grade — we were dancing bluebirds under the tutelage of a strict but talented instructor, Betsy Anne Humphries. Ten years later I would meet and later marry her brother. In the many years I’ve know Jenny, she was all about family. And she loved to tease, especially her nieces, nephews and grandkids. I’ll never forget her tricking Lauryn into eating fried calamari, telling her it was chicken. Lauryn thought it was great until Jenny told her what it really was. Needless to say, the kids all loved her and her teasing. Jenny was always kind, understanding and defensive of anyone done wrong. I’ll always remember her jewelry parties, horse parade parties, her in the family box at the Little Brown Jug, and so much more. Jenny, you will be missed every single day by so many who love you. I know you knew Jesus so I know you’re with Him now and happy with Pete, Joy and Mary and others who’ve gone before. Until we meet again, dear sister …
