Ruthie,
So SORRY to hear of Jim's passing! I think about you guys from time to time wondering where you were. I remember the good times we had out at Blues Creek G C on Friday nights in the couple's league. Seems a long time ago but take comfort knowing you and Jim aren't forgotten, Those that are left talk about those good times we had golfing and then going out to eat!!
Anyway stay strong and know we're you're in our prayers and thoughts!!
Always a friend!!

Sad to here that Jim has past.Jim was my mentor and teacher in the sprinkler trade.along with Norm Hall. They were very patient men.Any other person would have let me go the first week. After their training I spent 30 years in the trade.I also learned many life lessons from these men.I will miss Jim Parker a great friend.Sorry for your loss Ruthie.

Dear Ruthie and all of Jim's many family members,
We are truly saddened by the loss of yet another classmate from Richwood High School class of 1958. I remember Jim at the barber shop and some of the hilarious things he would say. My mother-in-law once said he was "such a pretty boy" when he worked at Cramer and Bugg's service station. He made a good impression wherever he went.
Heaven is a better place with Jim there.

Ruthie
My memories of Jim are long and deep from your wedding carrying your rings, to crying because I couldn't marry you, shagging golf balls and golf ball dimples in my head to Flattop and Crew cut haircuts and the speed bag in the back of the barber shop, to cans of compression for the lather machine and lefthanded Monkey wrenches. The passion he had for everything he did, his sense of humor, his love (ha ha) for the squirrels on Grove Street. Jim Parker was one of the men that help show this little red head how to be a man. I am done crying now it's time to tell the stories and celebrate the Life James Parker.

When I moved to Sebring Florida and the very day I arrived, there was a knock at my door and a loud voice calling my name. I opened the door and there stood this guy who started out by saying, I heard that you play golf. My name is Jim Parker. From that moment on Jim and Ruthie became a huge part of my life. Words can't express the love I have for this man. If there's a golf course up there, I know that he's already on the fairway. Love you too Ruthie
