Bill was an amazing person. He cared about his family, his profession, and the world around him. He told of he and his wife leaving on a road trip.  She saw their young grandson operating a large combine. She asked if they were going to leave with him driving that huge piece of equipment. Bill smiled, I don’t know why not. This is his third year operating it.  He believed in his family and their abilities.

My first husband was Bill’s  first cousin. I was part of the Laucher/Isler family for several years and they were some of the nicest family I have been a part of. Bill and I graduated together and at our last get together I got to talk to Bill about family. I am so glad we got to share good memories. Prayers for the family. Sue Clem

I was a high school classmate of Bill’s and am saddened by his passing.  I admired his quiet kindness. That image of Bill has stayed with me all of these many years. By all accounts his gentle kindness never disappeared and he continued to be that kind gentle soul till his passing.   It was an honor to have known him, even briefly in this life.
