Randall Blosser |
Randall Blosser, 74 of Lima, passed away to his eternal reward in the arms of Jesus and Mary on May 11, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 30, 1949 in Bryan, Ohio to the late Richard and Mary (Karnes) Blosser. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Dick and Nick and sisters, Joy and Gay.
Randall was raised in Montpelier, Ohio where he attended high school and enjoyed playing sports. After graduation in 1969 he joined the Army and spent two years in Germany. Following his Honorable Discharge, he moved to Lima, where he married the love of his life, Cindy (Wade) in 1976. He worked hard and supported his family until his retirement after 30 yrs. at the Lima
Refinery.
Randall was Traditional Roman Catholic. His faith and family were most precious to him. He was deeply devoted to both. Randall spared no pains in conscientiously following his faith, often driving hours to attend Sunday and weekday masses in his retirement years. His family also benefitted for his devotion to them as he always found time to spend with his children and grandchildren. Making memories with them and enjoying their company was always a priority for him.
His hobbies included drawing, painting statues and playing cards, especially Pinochle, although he would usually complain woefully of being “one short”.
Surviving is his wife, Cindy Lou (Wade) Blosser, they were married April 24, 1976 in Lima. Also surviving are their children, Holly (Jerry) Davis and Julia (Michael) Geckle both of LaRue and Joseph (Amber) Blosser of Spencerville
12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter
Brother, Chris Blosser and sister, Sunny Woodhull

Uncle Randy was a special person. My earliest memories of him involved his making us all laugh with crazy stories and wild antics. My mother used to have to tell him to take it easy because he was working us all up into hysterics. He was so much fun to be around, and as I grew up, I came to appreciate what a sensitive, loyal and caring person he was on top of being fun and hilarious. Over the years, he sent me many of his drawings of old family photos, and they were very well executed, so he was talented on top of everything else! Rest, easy, wonderful man. My condolences to all the family.
