John Andrew “Andy” Ritchie |
  John Andrew “Andy” Ritchie, 70 of Magnetic Springs, died Friday evening March 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 10, 1953 in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late James and Orphia (Cornett) Ritchie. He was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Andy was a very hard worker; he retired as a crane operator with the former General Castings in Delaware. He enjoyed collecting guns and knives, fishing and camping and working in his garden. Andy was known as a very good cook. He loved to be in his garage, just sharing time with his family and friends and neighbors.
Andy was a dedicated family man who provided for his family.
Surviving is his wife, Marsha Rae (Ridgeway) Ritchie, they were married April 10, 1971 in Greenup, KY. Also surviving are their children, Tia (Leon) Moss of Rushville, Tami Wood of Magnetic Springs, Marci (Shad) McCann of Lancaster, Paul Wood of Magnetic Springs and Matthew (Elena) Ritchie of Magnetic Springs.
Grandchildren, Christina (Joe), Elizabeth (Wendell), Nicole (Colton), Chyanne (Jordan), Kyle (Amanda), Kody (Dee),Kenyan (Christina), Kevin (Olivia), Meshach (Jenna), Connor and Malachi
13 great grandchildren
Siblings, James Ritchie and Wilma Ritchie, both of Kentucky
And many nieces and nephews and extended family in Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held Thursday March 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Claibourne Cemetery, Cindy Mahon will officiate.

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is assisting the family.
