Whitney Drew Gemperline

Whitney Drew Gemperline, 35 of LaRue, died Friday March 8, 2024 at the OSU Hospital in Columbus. She was born May 29, 1988 in Columbus to Scott Gemperline and Teresa Ann (Jewett) Whitney was a very hard worker; she had excelled working for Ashley Furniture in sales. She was a loving a devoted mother to Meika and life-partner to Brock Swords, who preceded her in death on October 15, 2021. Not a fan of cold weather, Whitney enjoyed trips to the ocean and spending time at the beach. She loved the sunshine and summertime. She loved being a mom, she was very active with Meika’s extracurriculars, band, gymnastics, swimming and softball. Surviving is her daughter, Meika Swords, her dad, Scott Gemperline of Reynoldsburg, a brother, Zack Gemperline of Gahanna, Brock’s mom and stepfather, Shirley and John Hecker of New Bloomington. Memorial services will be held Friday March 15, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Delaware Township Hall, 2590 Liberty Road Delaware, Ohio 43015. Friends may call from 4:30 until the time of service at 6:00pm.
