Phyllis Ann Bellar
Phyllis Ann BellarNursing-MDPhyllis Ann Bellar, 77 of Sunbury, formerly of Prospect, died Saturday evening December 2, 2023 at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

She was born October 27, 1946 in Columbus to the late Harrison and Flora (Davis) Ullom. She was also preceded in death by two former husbands, Don Campbell and Dennis McComas. Also preceding her in death were siblings, Tom Ullom, Roberta Lawson and her identical twin, Shirley Stuart.

Phyllis was a Registered Nurse, having worked for the former Community Med-Center Hospital in Marion, then OhioHealth for nearly twenty years. Nursing was not just a job for her, it was a calling. She loved being a nurse and gave herself to her work and patients. Phyllis was an advocate for her patients, even if it meant getting on the doctors, her patients came first. She had been awarded “Outstanding Patient Educator”; she was very proud of this award.
In her down time, she loved to crochet blankets, blankets for weddings, babies or any special occasion, she made hundreds.

Surviving is her loving family, husband, Ronald D. Bellar, they were married June 27, 1993. Children, Tanya L. (Kevin) Foulk of Prospect, Erick V. (Donna) Campbell of Ashley and Nathan L. (Alison) Campbell of Prospect
Stepchildren, Deanna (Greg) Delara of Jacksonville, Florida and Tammy Bellar of Westerville
10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
Siblings, Martha McBride of Marysville and Bill (Brenda) Ullom of Westerville

Friends may call Friday December 8, 2023 from 5-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. The eulogy will begin at 7:00 pm.

Phyllis was a wonderful friend, nurse, coworker. She was a dear person with a heart of gold. She will be missed.
