When we first met Anne Marie over 30 years ago, she told us about living on her parents horse farm and competing in barrel racing.  The thrill and the joy just oozed from her as she told stories.  It turned out that was always the way she was.  From the St Patrick’s day party, to helping us with any project we had going on, or even “opening up” the ice cream parlor at Outer Beaches late at night she remainded a bundle of joy, energy, enthusiasm and good will.  The Outer Banks has lost … and we have lost a true friend.
