Dear Mike and family:  I bring you all my love and sympathy.  I am Laurie Crawford, the daughter of Mary Lou Ellison, who was a very good friend of your Moms.  I talked with your Mom many times on Facebook and am so sad to hear of her passing.  She and my Mom will finally be together again in heaven.  They would sit and laugh for hours.  I can see them there now.   Sincerely, Laurie

I am so sorry for your loss. Phyllis  and I worked together for many years and became good friends. We both did infection control and when she retired she called me to see if I would be interested in replacing her at Marion General  and I did.  She was caring compassionate and dedicated nurse. We shared many laughs together. I will be lifting you all up in prayer during this difficult time.

Rick, Penny and family. I’m so sorry for your loss. I loved working with your mom and was so happy when she was able to retire. She always made me laugh when she referred to herself as a *hooker* and enjoyed her pictures of her completed rugs. She was a wonderful human being and I’m sure her loved ones on the other side were so happy to see her. God bless and prayers for all of you. Lisa Cudd

Phyllis and I took a trip to England.  We had the best time touring Southern England.  We stayed at a Methodist guild house and mingled with English people who were on vacation. They had a talent show the last night and wrote a poem about us.  I also worked with Phyllis at MGH.  We shared a lot of experiences together.  She was a great listener, mentor and friend.
