Kelly Bennett

Kelly Bennett, 58 of East Liberty, died Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.

He was born August 12, 1965 in Tokyo, Japan to the late Thomas and Shirley (Watson) Bennett.

Kelly worked as a home health aide. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn and listening to music. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He also loved his dogs, although sometimes he wouldn’t admit it. In his younger years, he was an excellent athlete, still holding some records from his high school in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his longtime significant other, Holly Ball, East Liberty; a son, Kelly Barker, Oklahoma; a step-son, Marcus Osborne, Marion; two daughters, Zada Bennett, Urbana; Taya Bennett, East Liberty; and a brother, Gregory Bennett, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Mike Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in East Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Memorial gifts may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

My heart goes out to Holly and his family. He was a great employee of My Love of Care as he took care of Holly. we will miss his weekly visits at the office he was like part of the family Prayers
