John Wesley Mallett
John Wesley MallettNUWildcatPawJohn Wesley Mallett, our sweet angel, was called to be with the Lord on Sunday August 20, 2023.

Born on August 29, 2017 in Marion, John was faced with a heart condition that he powered through and never let slow him down as he was the strongest boy we knew with his “golden heart.”

During his 5 bright and beautiful years on this earth, Johnny enjoyed swimming and doing puzzles with mommy, riding his bike with his sister Presleigh, playing Sonic and Fortnite with his big “bro” Harrison, and playing basketball with daddy. He had the best bond with his siblings, and they were an inseparable trio. His favorite hobby was sharing the love of fast cars and metal music with his daddy. You could always find Johnny on the Mallett farm with his Nana and Pop-Pop Mallett.  A very loved little boy, he made mommy and daddy radiate with pride with his intelligence. If you talked to him, he wouldn’t be afraid to tell you he was “a genius!”.  He was bright, caring, and had the most contagious smile. John offered an immeasurable amount of joy and laughter to those around. His life was a gift to us that we are forever grateful for.

John had a large group of family and friends who loved him unconditionally including; parents John and Amanda (Kephart) Mallett of LaRue. siblings Presleigh and Harrison Mallett. Paternal Grandparents Jeff and Teresia Mallett. Maternal Grandparents Mark and Barb Schatz. Paternal Great Grandmother, Winifred Mallet. And many extended loving family and friends.  His fur siblings will also miss his hugs and daily treats.

Even though John was taken from us much too soon, the lasting impression he left on the lives of us and others could never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully our sweet baby.

There will be a time of Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Johnny’s life on Sunday September 3, 2023 from 2-5 pm at the Pine Acres Event Center, 8746 LaRue-Prospect Rd. LaRue, Oho 43332

Memorial gifts may be made to the North Union Elementary School, Attention: Scott Maruniak, Treas. 12920 St. Rt. 739 Richwood, Ohio 43344.This is where Johnny had just started Kindergarten (He loved going to school).

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue is assisting the family.
